The Passa Païs (pronounced "Passo Païs"), which means "Passe-Pays" in Occitan, the Haut-Languedoc greenway crosses the watershed line between Courniou-les-Grottes (Hérault) and Labastide- Rouairoux (Tarn). It is a passage from the department of Hérault to that of Tarn, from the Languedoc-Roussillon region to the Midi-Pyrénées region, from a Mediterranean climate to an Atlantic climate.
From Bédarieux to Mazamet, this greenway has been built on the old Mazamet-Bédarieux railway line. It allows you to travel up to 76 km in complete safety and without nuisance since it is prohibited to the circulation of motorised vehicles.
