Pézènes-les-Mines
Pézènes-les-Mines is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Until 1926, the commune was known simply as Pézènes; the name change was authorised by government decree. On the edge of the village is the Château de Pézènes, a feudal castle of the 11th and 12th centuries, the castle still presents today some vestiges which continue to overhang this charming small village and dominates the site from a rocky ridge.
